Privacy Policy
No account or résumé upload is required. Career checks run in your browser. This policy explains the limited technical and advertising data processed when you use the site.

Your answers, job label, work family and result band are calculated in your browser. Offline Observer Career does not receive or store those values, and we do not ask for your name, email address, résumé or an account.
If you choose to create a comparison link, your job label and broad result band are placed in the URL that you decide to share. Anyone who receives that link can read those values. Your eight answers are not included. Result cards are also generated on your device.
Cloudflare hosting
This site is delivered through Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process limited technical data such as an IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp and country for security, reliability and performance.
Advertising — Google AdSense
Substantial article pages may use Google AdSense to display advertising. The interactive self-check, library hubs, About page and this Privacy Policy do not load the advertising script. When ads are served, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, local storage or similar identifiers to deliver, measure and, where permitted, personalize ads.
Google and its partners process advertising data under their own policies. You can review or change personalized advertising choices using Google Ads Settings and other industry opt-out tools.
Cookies, local storage and offline caching
Offline Observer Career does not place your quiz answers in cookies or local storage. The site's service worker may cache public pages and static assets on your device so previously visited content can open more reliably; that cache does not contain your quiz answers.
Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies for security and performance. Google and its partners may use advertising cookies or similar storage when ads are served.
Consent and privacy choices
Depending on your location, you may be shown a consent or privacy choices message. Where consent is legally required, personalized advertising is not intended to be served unless the required signal is provided through a Google-certified consent management platform.
Analytics: Google Analytics 4
Offline Observer Career uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage, such as which pages are visited and which internal links are used. Google processes this data on our behalf and may use cookies or similar identifiers. Your eight quiz answers, job label and result band are never sent as analytics events.
Where consent is legally required, analytics storage is not intended to be used unless the required signal is provided. You can also opt out of Google Analytics in any browser with the opt-out add-on below.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site, advertising setup or applicable requirements change. The revised date will be posted at the top of this page.
