ABOUT / PURPOSE & STANDARDS
Career guidance for life beyond the screen.
Offline Observer Career examines where AI overlaps with work, where people retain judgment and responsibility, and what a reader can do next in real life.
FOR REAL LIFE · LOCAL BY DESIGNWhy this site exists
Career change is experienced in schedules, confidence, income, relationships and daily work, not only in technology headlines. This site turns task-level evidence into practical questions a reader can use outside the screen.
The self-check is directional education, not a probability of job loss or a promise about hiring, salary or career outcomes.
What “offline” means here
Offline has two connected meanings. The work should help with real life beyond the screen, and the self-check itself calculates answers locally in the browser. No account or résumé upload is required, and the eight answers are not sent to Offline Observer Career.
Authorship without invented authority
Pages are published by Offline Observer Career. The site does not attach an individual expert byline or claim first-hand testing unless that work and identity can be stated accurately.
Article publication and update dates come from the version history of the source content. A displayed update date changes only when the article content changes materially.
How career pages are made
Each page must answer a distinct reader need, use at least two direct approved sources and add original task-level synthesis. Evidence is separated from interpretation, and material limits remain visible.
AI may assist organization and drafting, but it is not treated as a source. Claims, links and translations must pass the site's content checks and deliberate review before publication.
- No doorway pages, keyword variants or content made mainly for advertising value
- No promises about jobs, income, salary or layoffs
- English, Korean and Japanese pages must carry the same meaning and limitations
Advertising is kept outside the decision
Google AdSense may be loaded on substantial article pages. The interactive self-check, library hubs, About page and Privacy Policy do not load the advertising script.
Advertising does not determine which occupations are covered, how the self-check is scored or what a page concludes. Before article advertising is approved for production, navigation, primary actions, guided paths and source panels are reviewed as exclusion areas to reduce accidental clicks.
Updates should be visible and earned
Core sources are rechecked at least annually and after a material methodology change. Broken or superseded sources are replaced, and interpretation-changing corrections update the article date.
The standards below guide search quality, advertising placement and source transparency. They do not constitute an endorsement of this site.
